#todayilearned that Geysers can be started by pouring soap in them, to reduce the surface tension between the two pockets of different temperature water bodies within. While the powerful ejeculation of mineral-rich ground water was awe-inspiring, the smell of rotten eggs and soap water was pretty memorable as well. :)
